Service Printers, Inc. opened its doors in May 1996 with a modest crew and a lofty mission—to provide the best product and service possible to its customers. Barb and Tim Kujawski, owners and founders of Service Printers, lead the way with their tireless efforts and years of experience in the printing industry. Within a short time, proof that Service Printers was making good on their mission showed itself in the expansion in workforce and eventually in square footage.
In 2000, Service Printers expanded its facility, adding 15,000 square feet that houses the bindery and newly developed fulfillment department. It wasn't long before Service Printers was growing again, and in 2003, added an additional 5,000 square feet of warehouse space, and 5,000 square feet for a state-of-the-art prepress department. Service Printers moved from film to direct-to-plate, added multiple digital proofing devices, and expanded its electronic prepress and design personnel and services.
No longer the "new kid on the block", Service Printers is one of the premier printing companies in northern Indiana and the Midwest. And they just keep getting better. In the summer of 2007, Service Printers introduced Sublima, a new hybrid screening method developed by Agfa, that combines two proven screening technologies to achieve new levels of near continuous-tone reproduction on press.
More than a decade has passed since Service Printers introduced itself, and yet their mission remains the same. Quality and service are paramount; customer satisfaction is job one; and striving for improvement is ongoing and constant. Service Printers has the determination and expertise to make it happen.
